HAPPY ENDINGS: THREE

Time for the third episode of Sukie and Tommy, and of course, Dio!

Things get pretty hot when they all end up in Africa—and, they weren't exactly chilly in Atlanta the week before they left...

  2. Well I really enjoyed it. I'm seeing their marriage seriously going on the rocks and in a way it is Tommy's fault, but it's also Sook's fault as she knows deep down her husband can't handle it and is going through it all to the point of pretty much cheating. Denying her husband sex I think would make Tommy considering another woman mainly because at this point he might feel that she doesn't find him attractive. I guess I feel more sympathetic for Tommy than I should considering that he's kind of an ass, but maybe it's because I could see myself acting/doing some of the things he does.

I mean they claim to love each other, but she sure seems to think she loves Dio and I don't really think she does. She's infatuated with the guy and really doesn't know him THAT well even with the massages, etc. The guy rubs me as the sort of male slut that just fucks what he wants, someone that she thinks can provide her happiness, but really cannot because he's incapable of it.

Anyway I'm ranting. I guess I hate Dio because I went out with a girl that was a female version of Dio (minus the big cock of course) a real tigress but cheated and manipulated me in every which way. Hope Sook and Tommy wake up after it's done and realize how much they mean to each other.

  3. I think I get now why KT was not going to upload this story as a series, originally (total speculation). It's been a long tease for the main event, and there is a part of me that is burning up in anticipation. I think it partly has to do with expectations from previous titles by KT, but it's not as if there is no action. I'm over it!

The other part of me that wants to be affected by good writing is absolutely pleased. I don't really like the characters as much as people like I have in previous books, but that's not to say I don't like the characters, overall (my usual bias for the female characters, aside)! They're very well written, as per usual.

I love the things that have been said in this story, so many lines carry so much weight or at least show the potential to that it really gets the heart racing. I think the most telling line in the story is from Dio, when he says he likes danger until it takes over and shows him who's boss. To me every character in this story is enjoying the danger, but has no idea if they're safe in doing what they're doing.

Besides the obvious problem that potentially looms, I'd hate to see what happens when a military man with Tommy's personality feels cornered.

    2. Well, I said the above awkwardly, I love the character writing, equally to the other characters she's written in the past. I just don't like who they are as people. I like Sukie the most (surprise, surprise).

  5. I said she was gonna rip dio open like a pride of lions and she would look like a herd of elephants stampeded up her crotch....gonna happen.

Does anyone think that if tommy said "you know what? no we're not doing this i love you too much etc etc" that sukie would really hate him or would she appreciate that he loves her too much to give her away...i think all the "are you sure???" Is sook trying to give tommy an out...but if he lets her do it than she becomes dios playtoy. And mych less tommya wife she loves tommy when hes alpha not beta boy or acting childish. Tommy is gonna get what he wished for and wont be able to unwish it...
They are already altered from the couple who started this and now people outside the principles are aware. I think dio will push tommys buttons and fail to recognize when he took it too far.. .45 bullet has great stopping power....meant to drop charging bulls...or stampeding cows..

In the mean time this is what happens the next night.......
"In the midnight hour she cried, more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried, more, more, more
In the midnight hour, babe, more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried, more, more, more
    More, more, more

    Oh yeah little baby
    She want more

    Oh yeah little angel
    She want more

Thanks for clearing that up Billy

    1. John - there has been so many warning shots, I agree with you. Tommy has been given his chance and even when things are about to get most extreme, he decided he's still gonna go for it. I don't think that getting with Dio itself will make Sukie lose any respect for him, but again there is so much foreshadowing that part of what is getting Dio off in this is Sukie's reaction to what he does or say about Tommy. I don't know what "surprise" Dio has in store, but Dio is cooking something up to make occasion unforgettable. I have to imagine that what Dio will want to do might elicit some bad optics when Sukie reflects, possibly even in the moment. And if Dio is able to get into Tommy's head, well, we saw how Sukie reacted when Tommy thought her appointment with Dio was a good time for a gun demonstration.

At the end of the day, Dio is not going to win Sukie, I don't see a scenario where the end up together romantically, it's almost silly to think. I think Dio will mess with Sukie's head though, and things between these three will never be the same (as you mentioned, it's already that way), and I think Tommy's arrogance is changing, he's getting knocked down a peg or so.

Sukie won't leave Tommy for that, in my opinion, but she might not feel the need to plan her arguments alone before unleashing on Tommy anymore. I thought she was pretty eloquent in her argument anyways!

As for if Tommy asked Sukie to stop, would she? I think she's shown a lot of restraint to this point, but I don't think she can say no anymore, especially when temptation has two weekly appointments! I definitely wonder how she'll be able to say no if things go right in Africa!

I think the comment about the stories being dragged out for profit was an ignorant fool who doesnt know the authors in this genre very well..and omg he bought cherry blossom and raved about how long it was....didnt think that maybe it came in parts as part of a process. Dont change for the fool KT but follow your instincts.

    6. "Yes, I think my long book days are over."

KT, not quite sure what you mean by this, but certainly hope you don't intend to abandon long-form narratives, especially not on some yutz's say-so. Whether initially published as serials or not, I think your big books ("Learning Lessons," "Cherry Blossoms," and the Maggie series, which I think of as one massive novel in seven parts) are where your greatest and most unique strengths as a writer flourish. You have a legitimately novelistic sensibility unmatched by any other writer I've encountered in this genre, or in erotica generally. The characters in those sprawling stories live and breathe in the mind long after the tale is finished. It would be a huge loss if you didn't continue to follow your impulse to let your characters tell their twisty, tortured stories at whatever length they demand.

    7. Hi, I post on ourhotwives.com as DavidnDaria. For the record, my wife and I do enjoy KT's long books very much, and we truly hope you, KT continue. You're a brilliant writer.

So brilliant that Happy Endings dialog makes me think of "Jersey Shore" in Atlanta. I'm wondering if that was intended or was it accidental? In anycase, you have that kind of dialog nailed.

      Keep up the good work!

    8. I commented on book length below, but basically I prefer the longer stories but most of the readers don't. The ones who do like long books come here and post as we go through a series and keep me pumped up about finishing (it's hard to follow through on a 300k book all alone, believe me, ha ha!). I cherish that experience, and really look back so fondly on going through the anticipation of the next book and all the conjecture. it feels like fun. Cherry Blossoms, and Maggie were a blast to go through on this blog, and to some extent LHW1 as well, though in comparison it was quieter.

Speech: I see Dio as a rich kid who didn't try that hard in school, but is smart and driven. Being Greek his family and friends are also Greek, or Mediterranean, and he's adopted that style of speech. It suits his demeanor and his sales job, reinforces that no-nonsense sales talk. Tommy is generic racially, but being ex-military and having served with tough guys, he has the same sort of attitude, but his is forged in utility rather than familial like Dio. Neither of them are real Southerners, despite growing up in Atlanta.

And thank you so much for liking my books!

      Delete
    9. Thank you for writing them! I can't get the kind of stories you write anywhere else and it's absolutely the attention to detail and pace that you explore in the longer stories (even 50k longer).

Incidentally, I notice that your third party dudes strongly tend to have more racial specificity (Italians, Hungarian, Moroccan, African, Greek) in contrast to the "generic" husbands or BFs. I'm curious about your thoughts on that.

      Delete
    13. @paperback never a pest! not someone who wants my books! I love the paperbacks and love that you want them.

@Glaucon Thank you!—and I was wondering when someone was going to point that out, ha ha. I'm not sure what it is, but I feel like it's an easier sell when someone comes from a culture that isn't sexually repressed or guilty about wanting to have sex. I know that's a huge and obnoxious generalization of the whole male side of that culture but I think it bolsters the sexuality of my fictional male Mediterranean characters. You come in knowing what to expect at least a little, and they fulfill. But maybe the dark hair, muscle and body hair combo also is representative of what I at least figure is the right hand side of the masculinity scale. I've done male bulls from WASP culture but they have their downfalls the unapologetic ones you mentioned don't seem to have. Tyler was a bum (but I still love him—kind of the point), and Atticus was pampered and privileged, history of drugs and of course the expected mental illness, though mild. We'll have better bull statistics after I've done a hundred books. Maybe the sample size is too small. Merely what my thought process was over 2016-2018, but not my eternal thinking, lol.

      Delete
    14. Hmm, I guess I just always ran with it whenever KT starts to describe her bulls, since we never hear from them, they are always described to us. I assume race/ethnicity always accompanies that kind of discussion, especially in these stories where people hope for a full physical picture painted for them of their specimens, haha.

While we're on the subject of habits though, am I the only one that thinks that KT enjoys giving her husband/boyfriend characters names that can be made into boy names? Pete was never Peter, he became Petey like Jess and Pete's son, Max was never Maxwell or Maximilian, but Maxy, and Tom is never Thomas, but Tommy. Was Geoff ever Geoffy, I may have forgotten about that. I get a kick out of it, and I feel like it has to be intentional.

    18. There is definitely a lot in a name! I'm not planning it out that way, but yes sometimes (or maybe all the time) it just happens. The husbands are friends and they need friend names. Hey-good-buddy names. I don't plan it out that way. Sometimes a character will have a name I use for a long time and then I get stuck with what they're going to do next or how they would think about something and talk about it. I change their name and all of a sudden it's like I see them now, I know better who they are. (Yeah, that's right, you're a total Johnny. No, wait, Jonny without the h, you took it out because you're a little vain). Then I have to go back and change their name through the whole book. But the name just MADE their personality. I disagree with 'Tommy' though. To me Tommy is a pretty tough name. It helped me see him better. Tommy sounds like a go-getter who wants you to like him—so he can hustle you. And also: wasn't Joe Pesci a Tommy in Goodfellas? Tell that to his fuckin' face, say he's a boy. My bull names seem to end on Os or Rs, an S. Difficult names to turn good-buddy.

      Delete
    19. Ha ha, did Nia really call him Geoffy a couple times?

      Delete
    20. Friend names, yeah, I think what I really mean to say is pet names, like the name you would give a loved one in sweet moments as an equal, but sometimes when teasing each other.

I don't want to face the wrath of Tommy.

But yeah, I swore I saw it before and it started me making mental note of it. Nia liked Geoffy's prebachelorette strip tease and once more later.

It's slightly reductive so I don't want to make a big deal about it, but yeah I got a kick out of the opposite part too, where your bulls seem to have highly masculine names, lots of long-o sounds.

    22. As a retired military dude the way a nick name would go for tommy would evolve from thomas-tom- tommy-tommy gun-(since hes buff) gun would become guns/z- gunny.

The name would carry over because after a few years in the field it would be a badge of honor. If sukie would adopt it or devolve it into something more personal for herself would probably result in a small 2 minute tiff but ultimately gunny bunny would accept the new title. Bunny.

  7. Best lines in Part 3

I think the best thing about this part were the truths or potential truths that they revealed that could be troublesome:

Dio and Sukie talking about Tommy's gun antics.
"Danger makes you alive ..." Dio said
    "I'm not afraid of [Tommy]"
"What was the danger then?" Sukie said.
    "It was you."

When Sukie pulled off to the park to let off some steam:
    "Is he getting to you?"

When Sukie and Dio were getting a little too out of hand in the Ferrari:
"If you got a man on a string, you don't want him."
    "No," Sukie said.

Sukie reflecting on her lunch with Dio:
The control he had was thrilling ... Didn't like that she could be so easily controlled. But he was man of power, a man above her husband even.

    Dio talking about Danger again
"I like danger until it teaches me a lesson, shows me who's boss."

    Dio to Tommy:
"You're not the only one who knows what goes on in other people's heads," Dio says.
"And what's going on in my head?" Tommy.
    "You want something ..."

Sukie warning Tommy about what lays ahead:
"I'm telling you now I might say some dirty things or do some dirty things, he might even get me to beg for it again ..."

I'm sure there were some excellent lines I didn't mention, let me know what stuck out to you, please!

Finally, has anyone else noticed KT's author ranking has shot up? It had been hovering over the top 100 in erotica (I think that was the category) for quite a while, and now she's shot up past the top 50! That's fucking phenomenal. I know where's she's ranked in my book (wipes brown off nose).

KT - Does ranking improve exposure for Amazon writers within Amazon? It's still about "Also Boughts" for your writing, isn't it?

    3. Favorite: not even a line, but when Tommy puts his hand out like he needs help to stand then yanks it away and rolls to stand on his own ... then his knees pop.

Rank: it's good but not as exciting as it seems, ha ha. I'm always around 100, but I've spiked up with Happy Endings. Mostly because of frequent releasing, but that is literally killing me, lol. I have a demanding full time job and these last two weeks were brutal. Once I stop releasing so quickly, rank will settle down. It's a measure of difference in activity. But I have to say, it doesn't mean much else, and the difference between ranking 100 and 50 is negligible on my end. I know authors who rank top 10 and the difference is still minimal. Being #50, 30, or 10, is nowhere near being Alexa Riley, ha ha.

But I definitely appreciate the hell out of you all that buy my books or read them on KU and get me to wherever I may be ranked. I love being read and appreciated!

    6. Yea i had hopes that tommy was gonna full on body check dio into the wall....maybe in the next book....wink wink.

I think alot of us have the same idea on length. When it comes to erotic stuff longer is better right ladies?
Ive read the shorter stories by various authors and they left me unfulfilled. They just dont get me there. I think those stories that are too short need to be locked away in cage somewhere. For good reading pleasure i think at least 8 chapters is needed and as much as 12.

Of course the exception to the rule is KT's shorts because they are so fat with detail. They diffently do the trick ...like pool party and natilie awesome stories..

      Delete
    7. If I'm honest with myself it's not just what you say above John, although what you say is ultimately the most important detail KT could focus on. I don't want to admit it, mostly because I haaate when I'm in it (already do and it's what, 5 days removed from the previous part?), but one of the most powerful impact KT has on a reader is when we know there is another part coming later. With shorts, there's a beginning and end, and the end has no speculation that we have a chance to ruminate over. KT mentions it in one her replies, there's tons of conjecture and speculation poured onto these blogs by us diehards, and it's because we're not just reading the story once. We don't just read the stories she writes once because there's more story to be told. For me, knowing another part is coming, I read things several times over, I just HAVE to do it, and I can't tell you how many times that one line in a story starts to take on added weight. It could totally just be in my mind, I don't know, I don't keep tabs on how right I am about things from beginning to end, but I start obsessing over little details in the period between one story and the next. It's mostly because I've been driven insane by this author, but still, it's sort of by design with serialization that an avid reader might feel that way.

It's kind of why I get so heated by that douche nozzle from ourhotwives (not the dude that posted on here, he's alright ;) ) that sort of accuses KT of writing these series as a way to exploit people for more money. No fucking clue what they're talking about. KT how's that Cherry Blossom money treating you? (For real though, I wish it were making you a rich woman).

Watch any good series on t.v. and tell me that the anticipation for the next episode is not a HUGE factor (when you really think about it) to making a successful series. The anticipation that's in the time between season 7 and this last season of GOT is absolutely going to annihilate ratings for the series. It's kind of why I think Netflix (and other streaming services) is going to kill t.v. series', because we're raising a generation of entertainment consumers to get everything NOW! That's a total digression, back to the main point - I think more than just writing a long story, releasing that story in chunks, has absolutely hooked me to KT.

    2. Yes, some erotica authors want to be Fyodor Dostoevsky or at least Philip Roth... There is nothing wrong with that. But these are different emotions and different readership. If you write about hotwife, there is got to be lots of highly descriptive sex scenes.

      Delete
    3. No there doesn't, where was that written? People acting like KT doesn't drop sex scenes like they're going out of style. Remember, this was supposed to be one book, Sumo. There was always gonna be sex. If you want to be technical there was sex, and if you want to be even more technical there are tons of mindfucks in these first three parts.

    8. For me thw sex is secondary to the build up... the long seduction. The consummation is just icing on the cake.
The things that tweek me are the "come sit beside me" or the sorry tommy im sitting next to your wife on the plane...moments.

      I found this interesting:
“It ain’t over, Sukie,” he said snidely. “You like it too much.” “I like it. But I don’t like the way it’s going.” “So, what ...? ... You think I’m weak now?” “He beat you today, you know, Tommy?” “Beat me? What does that mean?” “He wasn’t afraid of you and your macho show. I was jerking him off when you got home. I finished—sorry, he finished—while you were sitting there trying to look like a hotshot with your stupid gun.”

Not always does the bull end up running away with the wife but not always does the wife stay with the husband.
Perhaps after whatever dio has planned for her she may decide to stay in africa for awhile..or make seeing dio a more that twice weekly occurrence. And of course denying tommy sex will be the norm..hes not "worthy" of her. Maybe it takes a reset with heidi to bring thd two back to center.

    9. I love the longer series. The longer the better. They are the least successful, except for here, ha ha, where all the fun happens. But as far as what the majority want, it's short and to the point. For whatever reason, I still keep writing in series and I can't help myself. I love the buildup, love the rollercoaster of emotions, and I love increasing lust exponentially. It's hard to make that happen in 50k, let alone 15k which is the most popular sweet spot in the genre. I strive to make this an immersive experience, and to do that I need back story, environment description, secondary and tertiary characters, and subplots that make the characters feel like they exist. That makes for long books.

      Delete
    10. Your talents would be wasted on 15k. You absolutely succeed in the immersive experience, and that's why your stories are so powerful. What readers too often forget in erotica is that the people and the emotion, as you identify them, are 70-90% of what makes the erotica erotic. Without that, it's just the percussive actions of two (or more) sacks of meat. The pure mechanics are sterile without context.

Hmmmm I don't remember anything called "Ball Game." There was something about a baseball player a couple blog posts ago, was that it? I need to read anything I may have missed haha.

    11. LOL at Glaucon's summation of what happens when erotica is filtered down to 15k words.

    14. I know I should, and I've said it before—but the reality is once I go to the trouble of creating a network of characters I want to keep going with them. They take on their own lives and start telling me what they want to do to each other. I'm swearing off series but you know how I keep my word. I'm 'trying' not to do series in the future.

That said, if series' worked better I would only do series. Series' are what I want to do.

    2. Katherine Trudeau? That's not a thing. On a side note though, google Margaret-Trudeau-upskirt. That's the kind of party my PM's mom was. No hate, and definitely not shaming her or Justin. I'm a fan.

    3. KT, what genre is the Margaret Trudeau life story? Hotwife, cuckold, swinging? Did Pierre clean up afterwards? And who is Justin's father? {Donald Trump, obviously, this being the year of Star Wars movie overkill - ed.}

    4. I think there were no holds barred let's just say. But Justin looks like a handsome version of his Dad if you ask me.

  13. Chivalry in Happy Endings

There's the prevailing thought that I've had throughout this story that I think is really interesting and plays on the challenges of chivalry to its extreme. To be fair, I think KT always kind of challenges this in the periphery, but I think it's particularly notable in this story because of the pride in the male characters.

Tommy is the breadwinner, and the Travis' seem to be the quintessential male-dominated home, even without being expressly described as such. Sukie works, but her work, though obviously professional and useful to the family (no one's shit talking Sukie, trust me), it isn't what runs the Travis household financially, or by way of prestige. There are way more things to a happy home than money, but the perception I get from the family is that if you put a gun to Tommy's head he'd say that he is the head of the household.

Like I mentioned, he talks a good game. He seems to genuinely want the best for Sukie, right down to conceding that Sukie should be allowed to lose herself in passion in the arms of a man that Tommy himself will describe as 'top shelf.' We can tell that when he is watching Sukie beg for it in Africa, that he lets it happen despite being awestruck about his own personal feelings about what he's witnessing. He's frozen in the aftermath, sort of knowing that what he witnessed is what he asked for. The male provider in him will convince himself, this is the price he pays for being a provider to his wife. He just knew that Sukie would love this, that's why he suggested it in the first place!

He's also doing it because he likes it, and I have to wonder if he wants to prove that he isn't wrong about nudging Sukie into this. This is the patronizing side of chivalry that I think is rearing it's head. The idea that Tommy is the one letting Sukie have this, and not Sukie getting it herself. Tommy is the provider of Dio's dick, not Sukie getting it, not Dio himself. Or the fact that Tommy gets all huffy when what Sukie can't follow the script they talked about at all times. When you see the jealous side of Tommy bubble out into the ether, you start to wonder if he really wants Sukie to enjoy Dio for Sukie, or he wants Sukie to Enjoy Dio for himself.

It's also not clear if that's even entirely a bad thing! It's his wife (for one reason), and what's wrong with something being for him in this too? Well, you could argue the biggest issue is how much Sukie has been stressed out fighting herself and what she thinks Tommy wants during this whole thing, and it was Tommy who really made this challenge real. So the usual impulse that Sukie might like that Tommy be a staunch defender of her honor, or fighting to challenge others for her becomes might be confusing now. Cleaning a gun when everyone and their mother knows what's happening out of sight on that massage table, was weird behavior, the time for those kind of power displays are sort of paltry now, Tommy boy (there's that word again, I swear it's just because Tommy and boy go together). They've cleared a hurdle and now Sukie has fully taken the reins in this, but it's not clear if Tommy is okay with that.

  14. What kind of man tommy is determined by his brand of soap.
Does he use dove moisturizing gentle to the skin type or ..
    "Duke Cannon.... (from their site)

"Big Ass Brick of Soap" Smells Like Productivity
True to its name, our soap is big (10 oz.) and will last much longer than the dainty little bars in your local grocery. It also smells awesome (clean, fresh scent with a hint of grass) and contains steel cut grains for maximum gripability. If you enjoy activities like drinking American beer or using power tools, then frankly, this is the only soap meant for you.

3x the size of most chick soaps Steel cut grains for max gripability Gets you clean not laidThe shape and size of Duke Cannon’s Big Ass Brick was inspired by the rough cut, "brick" style of soap issued to G.I.’s during the Korean War.  It is produced in the same U.S. Based, family-owned plant that was the sole supplier to the military during that era. "

I think these can also be uses in bullet proofing as well as being a lethal weapon in hand to hand combat..

  16. Geez, I'm trying to keep up, but here's the deal.... I'm half way through Book 2. Damn it KT... I sit down thinking I"m going to get caught up and then I read a chapter and... well... let's just say I give myself a "Happy ending" and then I'm paused for another night. I'm getting there , slowly, but I sure am enjoying it so far (wink wink). The build up is SOOOO intense. And if there is any benefit in where I'm at, at least I'm not like you guys on the edge the massage table waiting for Part 4. :)

I LOVE how intense those massage sessions are with Sook and Dio. OMG. FIRE.

    1. I wouldn't say there are no updates (semantics), shes nearly doubled the book size in two weeks.

    2. Ha ha, yes, you have to watch that slider bar up in the corner. If it doesn't seemed to have moved it's because the total word count for the whole book keeps going up, too! I'm working every day on it but real life wants to get tricky on me this last week and it's a Canadian Holiday up here. I'm heading to Rocco's cottage on Lake Mishigekekwag. Kidding, of course, I'm actually busy, and plus, Maria took the cottage in the divorce probably.

I know not to make promises, but HE4 will be out next week. If you're needing some weekend reading I'm in the middle of Kirsten McCurran's Stephanie's Hotwife Seduction and am thoroughly engrossed. I also see our good friend Shalamara Jax just released a new book, too!

    3. Yeah I read the Kirsten McCurran and Shalamara Jax books, they are awesome. I'm currently trying to catch up on some shows and working on my own artwork plus a story of my own. I always find ways to make myself busy. Can't wait to read Happy Endings 4.

    4. You know, I've tried these authors (not necessarily the specific books you mention) but the stories all seem... I dunno... too easy? Missing the depth and angst of the KT stories, in my estimation. And I've definitely already droned on about the paintball vs. gunfight dichotomy. I really do wish I could find more stories like KT's (probably why I keep checking back here so much).

  18. I'm with you Jeff B. I check each day for a post, or an update, or to see if that slide bar is moving. I CAN'T wait for part 4. And then when that's done, I hope to revisit Reza and Charlie as well. I've got a lot of 'caged' up emotion....

    1. Reza and Charlie will be up shortly after HE4. I was on a long editing tear on the first chapters of HE4 and needed a break so I wrote some Charlie and Jonny scenes just yesterday and it was a lot of fun.

    2. The good news keeps piling up! I can't wait to read how caged up and frustrated Jonny gets and how much tension grows between Reza and Charlie. Maybe Reza's cruelty grows towards poor Jonny.

    1. Whooooaaa! New internet theory! KT isn't celebrating Canada Day at Rocco's lake cottage. She's secretly celebrating in Africa! And in order to put the finishing touches on Part 4, she's doing a journalist's research on "Elephant Trucks", drinking a Tim Horton's coffee by the river and enjoying a plate of poutine (google that one my fellow American's). Mystery solved, O Canada.

    2. Happy Canada indeed, eh? Lol at two completely unnecessary references to poutine on this blog.

    3. LOL, literally had poutine two days ago—references are never unnecessary! I prefer my poutine in steep-sided cardboard cartons at hockey arenas over ceramic plates. And thanks for the Canada Day wishes, I do love this country!

  23. I keep imagining myself as Jonny from that Reza series and imagining how he'd feel while working on his game listening to his wife getting it with Reza and the tightening of that device... How things will worsen for Jonny and how he'll endure further humiliations. Damn gets me going every time. SIGH! Anyway onto further reviewing Happy Endings.

I like Happy Endings but feel that Tommy is really the only one I sympathize with as a character seems like everyone here likes Sukie but I really haven't mustered caring that much for her yet. Maybe it's that she has a husband that really loves her and cares about her and she knows how this relationship with Dio will ruin a perfect life with Tommy? The guy is simply not ready for an open marriage with Dio and speaking of which I really fucking hate Dio, the guy is going to hurt her deeply because she has this notion that she can change him.

I think Tommy is going to like what his wife is doing first but grow to hate her and Dio for it as time goes on. He'll grow to feel that his wife doesn't love him and assume that she doesn't want to have sex with him anymore and seek pleasure else where. Hope they rebuild their marriage at some point and I think a whole section (last book if book 4 isn't the last?) should be focused on this.

Maybe Sukie wakes up and realizes that Dio could give a fuck less about her and that everything went out of control. That Tommy for all his faults is the one that truly cares for her.

Anyway sorry for the ranting just some personal opinions.

    1. But didn't Tommy start this in order to prove that he was the better man, especially when Dio started that creepy talk about wanting to have Tommy's life (right!). Sukie did not need much encouragement, after all. There's a part of me that says that Sukie would like nothing better than to run away with Dio (fat chance of that lasting more than a month) and dump the boys on Tommy.

But if things do work out for Tommy and Sukie and they decide that some fooling around is ok, then they certainly need to look into installing a hammam next to the cabana. It really facilitates year-round erotic massage.

      Delete
    2. You can think of the Dio-Tommy thing as a light sexual romp musical comedy based on the movie, "Single White Female,: with Dio in the Jennifer Jason Leigh role and Tommy in the Brigit Fonda role.

      Delete
    3. I really don't think Sukie is ever going to drop Tommy for Dio. She wants him so bad, and even still resisted doing the one thing she is dying to do until she made it to Africa. She seems like a decent mom from the few interactions we've seen of them all, and so I really doubt she's about to drop her entire life because of a good sticking (even with the added fanfare).

Thought experiment, imagine the hottest girl you've ever met in your life, imagine your job involves having to make physical contact with this person. Now imagine she gets noticeably sexually aroused by your presence and ministrations (like honestly, SHE is turned on by YOU, how crazy?!), but you know better to cross any lines. Then imagine your SO tells you to go ahead and do whatever you want with them, practically is mad at you if you don't. You love your SO, but, like I said (see first sentence) ... the hottest girl you've ever met in your life ... Can you possibly be blamed for losing your composure and sense of emotional grasp of what's important when you're world gets rocked by this person actively seducing you. Throwing the works at you in the process? You never wanted to do this, now how can you possibly be expected to contain yourself when you've had a taste?

You'll learn that she's all flash and awe, but they're a one trick pony. Ok, maybe like a two or three trick pony, but it's not going to last forever. Damn is it confusing how amazing it is though ...

I don't really like any of the characters as people, but I'm with Donk here, Sukie didn't start this, she warned Tommy that he wasn't thinking about the risks of doing this, and he kept at it. She's not stupid though, Dio isn't Tommy. That's both a good thing and maybe not as advantageous thing, but I think mostly good (for Tommy).

      Delete
    4. Tommy is 8 inches yet still as insecure as someone who is 4 inches lol. Anyway yes Tommy brought it up and you could say is bringing it upon himself, but he clearly can't handle it so Sukie shouldn't do it. Of course perfect characters are boring.

When reading Paradise Lost for example I always liked reading about the Devil, God was boring. So yes it's why I like Morrison characters with their imperfections.

      Delete
    5. Jeff, Tommy should be thrilled with his 20.78 cm. According to a recent study published in Science, Tommy's 8" places him in the 98-99th percentile in length (http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2015/03/how-big-average-penis).

However, KT and CK Ralston have apparently cornered the market in that final percentile, so they may both think the >20 cm guys are not that unusual.

WRT KT's radio silence: either she is pulling a Frank Zappa on us (he would go silent for several minutes until the crowd grew really restive) or she is justifiably enjoying a week off, taking advantage of a full 25% of the decent annual weather in the GWN.

      Delete
    6. And one more thing, the Science team says the extra soft skin in Dio's foreskin does not count for length; measurement is from the pubic bone to the tip of the glans. The foreskin is to them equivalent to the peacock's feathers. {maybe we should ask Sook about that - ed}
